Nunc Dimittis

Lord, now lettest thou Thy servant depart in peace,
according to Thy Word.
For mine eyes have seen Thy salvation,
Which Thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
To be a light to lighten the Gentiles
and to be the glory of Thy people Israel.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son
and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. AMEN.

In Paradisum

May the angels lead Your Holiness into paradise;
may the martyrs come to welcome you,
and take you to the Holy City,
the new and eternal Jesusalem.

May the choirs of angels welcome you
and lead you to Abraham's Side;
where Lazarus is poor no longer.
May you find eternal rest. AMEN.


May God grant you to share
in the inheritance of His saints in glory;
and the Blessing of God Almighty,
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
be upon you, and remain with you for all eternity. AMEN.

Eternal rest grant unto His Holiness, O Lord
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.

May his soul
and the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of Almighty God,
rest in eternal peace. AMEN.
